Stranger Danger Experiment

Posted: Updated:

What you are about to watch is scary. It's a Stranger Danger Experiment. A British Television Show gave parents a glimpse into just how easy it is for your child to fall victim to "stranger danger."

The British Network "ITV" conducted an experiment using a group of nine volunteers. Children between the ages of 5 and 11, went to a secure playground with their parents. Parents were in on it.

Hidden cameras rolled as a mother steps away for a minute to take a call on her cell phone.

Then an officer playing the part of a random stranger -- attempts to lure the child out of the park.

He uses a picture of a dog, to convince the kids to help him find the lost pup. This video shows one of the chilling incidents.

In seven out of the nine cases the "stranger" was able to lure the child away within two minutes of meeting them.

Parents who participated say they were shocked at what they witnessed.
