A 100-year-old North Texas woman shares a century of memories along with her musical talent.
Maudell Gentry Baker said her mother taught her how to play the piano when she was young and she's perfected the skill over the past 100 years.
"I guess I was just born with a love for music," she said.
Ms. Baker was the first person to earn a Bachelor of Music from the University of North Texas. She still teaches piano and painting to young kids.
"I think of all the doctors and all the teachers and all the mechanics and all the scientists, the Lord gives each one of us a special talent. He as something for us to do," she said.
She said she likes for her students to be focused without interruptions and that's why she asked FOX 4 to wrap up her interview before her next class.
