ARLINGTON, Texas -

University of Texas Arlington police are investigating reports of underage drinking and a sexual assault at a fraternity house.

The fraternities Sigma Phi Epsilon and Pi Kappa Phi are facing possible suspensions for alcohol violations and unsanctioned events.

The sexual assault allegedly happened Saturday at the Sigma Phi Epsilon house. A young woman reported it after she was found unconscious in a dorm.

The male student she accused was suspended pending the outcome of an investigation.

"We take these issues very seriously. We are taking decisive and appropriate action while the investigation continues and due process is served related to these unfortunate circumstances," President Vistasp M. Karbhari said. "We are deeply committed to the well-being of our University community and will not tolerate behavior that is potentially dangerous for our students and others."
