Frog photo bombs rocket launch

Posted: Updated:

Something unusual was caught on camera when NASA launched a rocket off the coast of Virginia Friday night.

A still camera on a sound trigger captured image as the LADEE rocket lifted off the launch pad.

As typical after a launch, a team was examining photos when they spotted what looked like an airborne frog.

Experts at NASA were able to zoom in and confirm it is real.

They have no idea what happened to the frog.

The LADEE rocket is heading to the moon.
