A Prescott Valley man was booked into the Yavapai County Jail after police say he fled the scene of a crash that seriously injured a woman.

On Sept. 13 at approximately 10:25 p.m., officers arrived at the Jackass Bar and Grill near Valley and Robert Roads in regards to a pedestrian accident.

Officers leaned that the 45-year-old female had been struck by a vehicle.  She was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center in serious condition.

Investigators say they discovered that there had been an altercation at the bar before the crash.

According to the police report, witnesses said 46-year-old Robert William Hall left the bar and returned a short time later.  Witness accounts indicate Hall may have accelerated, crossing the left of center towards a group of people who were near the shoulder area of the road.  Investigators say the victim was struck by Hall's vehicle and he fled the scene.

Hall was later located at his home.  He refused to provide statements to investigators.  Police say Hall's 64-year-old female roommate was uncooperative and arrested.  She was booked for hindering prosecution.

Hall was booked for one count of attempted negligent homicide, three counts of endangerment and one count of aggravated assault.

Police say the victim is now believed to be in stable condition.
