West Nile virus death confirmed in town of Cicero

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A Cicero man has died from the West Nile Virus -- the first fatal case in suburban Cook County this year.

County health officials say the victim was 67 years old and had been suffering from other health problems.

The health department says it has two other human cases.

Even though it's late in the season, mosquitoes are still out there and could be carrying the West Nile Virus.
