Posted: Updated:

An ex-Grapevine police officer will spend 15 years in federal prison for producing and possessing child pornography.

Philip Woolery, 47, was arrested in Oct. 2012 for using his digital camera to record an underage boy engaging in a sex act in a swimming pool. He also admitted to owning a computer he used to search websites for child porn.

Woolery pleaded guilty in March and was sentenced on Tuesday in a federal court. In addition to the jail term, Woolery will pay a $5,000 fine.
