MONROE, Ga. -

Families in Walton County came together on Thursday to help raise money for a little boy hurt by a fallen tree.

The Chick-fil-A on Highway 138 in Monroe hosted a fundraiser for Tristen Wilson.

Tristen has been hospitalized for more than a month. He and his sister were playing at a family friend's home in Walton County when a tree fell on them.

His sister broke her leg and Tristen suffered a terrible head injury.

His family says the community's support and prayers have helped them cope through this difficult time.
