SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

20-year-old Tre Devon Johnson was arraigned Monday on the charges of homicide and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection with the death of 24-year-old Leonard Graham, a former marine. Johnson was denied bond.

The two were friends and were celebrating Graham's birthday Sept. 14 at an apartment complex near 11 Mile and Franklin Roads. Graham's body was discovered Sept. 20 behind the complex in a wooded area.

Graham died by a gunshot wound to the head. Police believe Johnson shot Graham, wrapped his body in a sheet and dumped it in the wooded area where it was found.
