Wreck, fuel spill trigger delays on I-35 in downtown Dallas

A wreck and fuel spill triggered lengthy backups Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 35 in downtown Dallas.

Southbound I-35 was shutdown in all lanes due to the wreck during rush hour. An 18-wheeler was hauling a truck when the incident occurred, with the truck falling off the 18-wheeler.

Lanes began to slowly reopen as the evening progressed.

The truck involved flipped on its side and spilled fuel, which will had to be cleaned up before the all the lanes of traffic reopen.

There are no reported injuries with the wreck.
