A Parker County photographer faces accusations of sexual contact with a 16-year-old he allegedly met while covering a Weatherford High School football game.
Deputies arrested Dax Morgan, 39, on Tuesday for indecency with a child.
Police said Morgan convinced the alleged victim to come to his home and pose for pictures along with learning photography tips.
"Whenever she got over there, they did several hours-worth of photo shoots," said Parker County Sheriff Lt. Mark Arnett. "Some of the shots that she reported they took were semi-clad, semi-nude and they did some nude shots."
Police said Morgan gave the girl a massage and inappropriate touching allegedly occurred, which led to his arrest.
The probably cause affidavit says the parents found out about this because of a text on their daughter's phone.
The affidavit says they saw a "Good Morning" text from Morgan, then started asking questions.
Police say detectives seized a computer, cameras, massage oils and the victim's bra from Morgan's home.
Parents in Weatherford question how a photographer who was familiar to so many on the football game sidelines, could be arrested for indecency with a child.
"I wanna know if the school checks these people out before they're allowed to come and hang out with our children?" Lora Wyllie, a Weatherford parent, asked.
According to the school district, Morgan was not contracted to shoot photographs for them, but had access tot he football field as a freelancer.
He'd been shooting pictures of the football games for at least 8 years.
Morgan is out of jail after posting a $25,000 bond.
