Police fire shots during prostitution bust

Dallas police were involved in a shooting Wednesday in east Oak Cliff.

It happened just after 10:30 p.m. on Morrell Avenue. Officers were investigating possible prostitution activity when they heard yelling.

When the officers approached the suspect, the suspect allegedly pointed a flashlight in their eyes.

Police thought they heard gunfire and fired their weapons in return.

No one was hurt and the suspect was arrested.
