Rawlings takes domestic violence awareness to football games

Posted: Updated:

Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings is continuing his fight against domestic violence to high school football games.

Young men will be asked to take the "Be A Man" pledge on their smartphone at the halftime of Dallas ISD football games during the month of November. The pledge asks for a promise to be a man who won't abuse women.

Rawlings said the pledge is the next step to fight the problem.

Dallas hosted a rally to kick-off its campaign against domestic violence in March.
