UTA police decline to file charges in two sex assault reports

Posted: Updated:

University of Texas at Arlington police have decided not to file charges after investigating two recent reports of sexual assault on campus.

The university released a report stating the sexual assault complaint cannot move forward unless more evidence is found and given to investigators.

One of the sexual assaults said to have happened in August is connected to the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house. The other assault reportedly happened in September near the Life Science building.

Police are still investigating two other sexual assault cases on campus.
