HURST -

Eleven sculptures up to 8-feet high at Northeast Mall in Hurst are part of this year's Canstruction Competitions in Texas.  This year's creations include and elephant, a rainbow and a new Fort Worth bridge.  Awards are handed out for best meal, best use of labels, and structural integrity, among others.  When the competition is over, the cans will be donated to the Tarrant Area Food Bank, which serves 13 North Texas counties.  The Canstruction Competition started 15 years ago and more than 722,000 pounds of food has gone to the food bank.
