CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A CTA train was derailed near the Kimball Brown Line station on the North Side early Monday.

Ambulances were sent to the site of the derailment in the 4700 block of North Kimball Avenue, Fire Media Affairs said at 1:13 a.m.

At least one of the train's wheels was not in line with the track, and about 50 people walked back to the station after the derailment, Fire Media Affairs said.

Nobody was injured, and the train was secured as of 1:15 a.m., Fire Media Affairs said.
