Green lights to return to Bank of America Plaza on Nov. 14

Posted: Updated:

The iconic green lights of Bank of America Plaza will return to the Dallas skyline on Nov. 14.

An invitation announcing a re-lighting event was sent out Thursday to local media.

An event is scheduled for Thurs. Nov. 14 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. where the new green lighting will be flipped on.

The building has been without the bright green outline of lights since early July.

The old argon lighting was removed from the side of the 72-story skyscraper and is being replaced by LED lights.

Bank of America Plaza opened in 1985 and is currently undergoing a $20 million renovation.
