Boy Who Suffered Heart Attack Playing Baseball Supports Team

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

We have good news to share about a young boy who suffered a heart attack on the baseball field.

T.J. Ramos is out of the hospital and back on the field, supporting his team!

FOX 29 was there with him on Saturday.

The 9-year-old had a heart attack last month during practice.

He has a genetic condition called CPVT.

His coach and another parent, who are both Philadelphia police officers, raced into action saving his life.

His dad is grateful, saying, "We are blessed... feeling in the world."

T.J.'s parents say he's recovering well, and he can't wait to put on his catcher's gear again to play ball with his team.
