Bank of America Plaza tests multicolored lights

Posted: Updated:

The tallest building in downtown Dallas tested its new lights Wednesday morning and for the first time in decades they are not green.

A few watchful Twitter users posted pictures of a purple and blue Bank of America Plaza.

The building is known for its famous green lights, but they were turned off in July for the installation of a more energy efficient and modern LED lighting system.

The official re-lighting ceremony is next week.
