Plano's Infosys settles immigration fraud complaint

Texas prosecutors announced a record settlement with a company with accused of immigration fraud.

Infosys was accused of bringing in overseas workers on training visas to do jobs intended for Americans or long-term visa holders.

Investigators said they found 6,500 Infosys employees with visa violations over five years.

The company is based in India, but does consulting work from its Plano office.

Infosys settled the complaint for $34 million, but claims it did nothing wrong.
