Man pleads guilty to murdering HIV-positive woman

Posted: Updated:

A Dallas man pleaded guilty Wednesday to murdering a woman after finding out she was HIV positive.

Larry Dunn, 37, met Cicely Bolden on a chat line in Aug. 2012 and had an affair with Dunn for several weeks before revealing her HIV status.

"At that point I felt like I had it, my wife probably has it, maybe I've given it to my children somehow," Dunn said on the stand.

Dunn also admitted he left Bolden's body to be found by her children.

Dunn faces from five to 99 years in prison. The jury could also rule it was a crime of passion with a sentence between two and 20 years.
