There has been another officer involved shooting in Dallas; the second one in two weeks.
It happened just before midnight on Friday evening near the intersection of East Missouri Ave. and Crest Ave. Dallas police says two officers responding to a call about a man sitting on someone's porch, when they arrived, they found Salvador Munoz on the property and they asked him to leave. Then investigators say Munoz got aggressive with the officers.
One of the officers pulled his taser out; Munoz grabbed the taser and turned it on the officers. That's when an officer fired a shot from his service weapon that killed Munoz.
Munoz's sister, Janette, didn't see the incident happen but have the same feeling about how it played out.
"I don't know why they had to shoot him," she says. "Why couldn't they just shoot him in the leg or something or arm."
Salvador Munoz did have a lengthy and violent criminal history that included; resisting arrest, assault and drug possession.
