Scientists create glowing ice cream

Posted: Updated:

A new invention is lighting up cones around the world.  British inventors have created glow-in-the-dark ice cream.

The treat gets its green sheen from a synthesized version of the protein that makes jellyfish glow.

It reacts with the temperature in your mouth, so the more you lick it the brighter it gets.

But there's a catch. It costs more than $200 a scoop.
