A prominent Detroit religious leader says his brother-in-law was fatally shot in the city.

Relatives found Dwayne Green lying on the floor of his apartment on Barlum Street Monday afternoon. Green, who family says was shot twice, died at Henry Ford Hospital. He is the brother-in-law of Greater Grace Temple Bishop Charles Ellis III.

Ellis says Green had worked as a maintenance supervisor at the church for the past 15 years.

Ellis describes his relative to Fox 2's Randy Wimbley, saying: "He's going to be remembered as a great brother to his sisters and brothers, a great son to his parents and a good father to his son, to his daughter." Green was 48 years old.
