Fired Dallas bus monitor wins discrimination suit

Posted: Updated:

A fired Dallas County Schools school bus monitor has won his discrimination case in court.

Paul Green was interviewed by FOX4 in 2012 when he sued DCS for wrongful termination.

Green had been coping with severe health problems using medication that required him to take frequent bathroom breaks. Green said he was fired after an incident on a school bus where he soiled himself because the driver repeatedly refused to pull over.

A jury awarded Green more than $40,000 in back pay and $125,000 for pain and suffering.
