NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Several young mammals born Wildlife Conservation Society zoos in New York are making their debut to the public.

Two snow leopard cubs that are the first born at the Central Park Zoo are now on display there. The twins, a male and a female, were born this summer to Zoe, the mother, who was paired with Askai, a male snow leopard from the Bronx Zoo, according to the WCS. The cubs each now weigh about 30 pounds and could grow to 65 to 120 pounds.

Snow leopards (Panthera uncial) are among the most endangered big cats in the world, WCS said. The snow leopards at the Central Park Zoo and Bronx Zoo are part of a breeding program administered by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, or AZA.

In the meantime, the Prospect Park Zoo in Brooklyn and the Bronx Zoo, WCS's flagship park, have debuted some new red pandas. One pair of cubs is on display in the Himalayan Highlands section of the Bronx Zoo and another pair is at Discovery Trail at the Prospect Park Zoo. They were born this summer.

Native to Nepal, India, Bhutan, China, and Myanmar, red pandas are listed as a "vulnerable" species. The WCS said it has had a successful history of breeding red pandas as part of the cooperative breeding program run by the AZA.

The Wildlife Conservation Society's mission is to protect wildlife and wild places around the world through science, conservation, and education programs and its network of zoos and aquarium in New York City.

The breathtaking spa is illuminated by hundreds of candles and smells of invigorating eucalyptus. For around $80 you can bathe in the tranquil blue pools for 90 minutes and find the temperature that's right for you.

From coffee shops in Brooklyn to restaurants in Manhattan, we find speakeasies standing out by blending in. When people in Bushwick want a green machine juice blend they visit Leticia Castillo's Owl Juice Pub. But first they must find the owl. "We been doing fine without a sign," Castillo says.
