Police officers in Arlington made an arrest Tuesday in connection to the recent shooting deaths of two men at an apartment complex, according to a spokesperson for the city.
Isaiah S. Hutchinson, 18, of Grand Prairie, is in jail on a capital murder charge.
Three people were shot Saturday in the 800 block of Timberlake Drive, including 22-year-old Bryan Young and 28-year-old Clinton Howard, who were both killed, and Corey Wilson, who was critically injured by gunfire.
An investigation into the shootings shows that Hutchinson and Wilson reportedly went to an apartment in that area to buy marijuana, while a third man stayed near a vehicle in the parking lot.
Witnesses later reported seeing Hutchinson shoot Young and Howard in the apartment.
When officers arrived on scene, they say they saw Hutchinson running away from a parked vehicle, where Wilson, injured, was near.
Hutchinson's bond has been set at $500,000. His mug shot has not been released at this time.
