Officials in Fort Worth are trying to identify two women from surveillance photos who are accused of stealing Red Bull energy drinks and assaulting a loss prevention officer, according to a spokesperson for the police department.
Police say that the women were seen loading the Red Bulls into a cart at the Target on Overton Ridge Boulevard at 12:40 p.m. Oct. 26.
When the suspects tried to exit the store, loss prevention officers tried to detain them, but the women allegedly assaulted one of the officers and fled the store.
The suspects were seen leaving in a dark green Geo Prism, driving to the Remington Hill apartments nearby and running inside the complex.
One of the suspects is described as being in her late teens to early 20s, around 5-foot-8 or 5-foot-9, with a large tattoo on the front of her chest that appears to be wings. She was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket with a logo on the back and long shorts.
Another suspect, also described as being in her late teens to early twenties, is said to be about 5-foot-11. She was last seen wearing a letterman-style jacket with a large "T" on the front with "Texas" written on the back.
The four-door Geo Prism had tinted windows, paint fading on the trunk, a paper tag reading "Untitled Vehicle," and a "Love" sticker on the rear truck area. The vehicle did not have hubcaps.
