A mother and her 10-year-old son worked together to steal lottery tickets from a Roseville party store, police say.

It happened at the 'Stop 'N Go' party store near 13 Mile and Calahan roads.

The store's owner tells Fox 2's Andrea Isom the duo seemed as if they had a plan, and were pacing out front of the business seemingly to wait for customers to leave the shop. Once the shop was empty, the owner says the mother put a sign in the window telling customers 'Be back in 15 minutes.' Then she backed the owner's wife into a corner, he says, to keep her from calling police as her son took the tickets.
