There's going to be a party in Fort Worth to celebrate the West 7th Street Bridge.
The new $26 million bridge connects downtown Fort Worth to the cultural district.
It's actually been open about a month ago, but it will be closed again on Friday and Saturday for the celebration.
The festivities include a lighting ceremony, food and live music on the bridge beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, followed by a fireworks show at 10 p.m.
For ticket information, see www.7thstbridge.com.
A free parade at 10:30 a.m. Saturday will feature cattle, classic cars and bicycles.
The bridge will reopen for traffic on Saturday afternoon.
