A woman in Manitoba was fined $10 for not providing a "balanced" meal.
Her two kids brought leftover roast beef, potatoes, carrots, milk and oranges to school for lunch, but an inspector found it lacked a grain.
The kids were given crackers and their mom was fined $5 for each packet.
Now that the story has gotten wide media exposure, she's speaking about Canada Food Guide, which she said ends favoring processed food over home cooked meals.
