Can ESPN see into the future?

Well, probably not. But a commercial for Sunday Night Baseball back in 2010 foreshadows the blockbuster deal that sent Tigers first baseman Prince Fielder to the Texas Rangers in exchange for Ian Kinsler.

In the 30-second spot, Fielder, then with the Milwaukee Brewers, and Kinsler discuss trading one another, along with Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum, in a fantasy baseball deal. Actor Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation) chimes in and makes the whole the scene quite awkward.

Nice work, ESPN. Maybe next you can do an NBA spot with Rodney Stuckey?
