Five cars were involved in an accident Friday afternoon on Telegraph near Six Mile Road. Police say the accident appears to have happened after a woman accelerated and drove across a median in efforts to escape two men who were waving guns at her.

That woman was listed in critical condition Friday night. Fox 2's Erika Erickson reports the four other drivers were able to walk away from the scene. She talked to two of those drivers.

"Out of the side view I saw this car come barreling over the median," Thomas Hosinski tells Erickson. He continues, "Next thing I knew I was spinning and I think I ... turned over four times and landed over here."

The woman stopped at a red light when another car is said to have pulled up next to her. Two men jumped out of the car, wearing ski masks, and began yelling and waving guns at the woman, police say.

Detroit police describe the two suspects as black males, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall. They are said to have been wearing dark hoodies. They may have been driving a white-colored Dodge Charger with the license plate CJ38K2.
