Random acts of kindness: Paying for families` groceries

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

You might need a tissue for this one. This is what "holiday spirit" is all about.

Gung Ho, a natural supplement company, is buying the groceries of one special family each day this holiday season. Utah YouTube video creator Andrew Hales partnered with Gung Ho and grocer Maceys to bring some holiday cheer to surprise customers in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

Hales' video, created with the help of Josh from GiveBackFilms, shows customers' reactions to the random acts of kindness. It has gone viral this year, nearing 2.5 million views since it was posted three days ago.

Gung Ho has been doing this for 25 years, saying they just want to give back. The company thinks it's a great way to remind people of what the holidays are all about.
