Dallas law enforcement officials are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of a suspect connected to a fatal hit-and-run that happened Sunday night.
Dallas Police say that the driver of a white Lexus SUV with paper tags was traveling southbound in the 2900 block of South Westmoreland Road just before 7:30 p.m. when he or she struck 24-year-old Mikal Ray as he was crossing the street, and then didn't stop to help him.
Ray was taken to Methodist Central Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect's vehicle may have damage to its front right bumper, and anyone with information on the driver and the location of the vehicle is asked to contact the Dallas Police Department's Vehicle Crimes Unit at (214) 214-671-0011.
