Fort Worth police are searching downtown for a suspect wanted for an Arlington murder.
David Merrill reportedly ran from a probation office in downtown Ft. Worth at 200 W. Belknap Street on Wednesday at about 9 a.m. and hasn't been seen since then.
Merrill reportedly had failed a urinalysis test and was going to have his bond revoked.
Merrill was involved in a domestic situation in 2012 that resulted in the murder of his father-in-law in Sept. 2012.
Merrill was last seen wearing a maroon long sleeve Henley-style shirt with three buttons near the collar, a black leather jacket and blue jeans. He also has a large tribal tattoo on his chest.
Tarrant County College's Trinity River and Trinity River East campuses were placed under lockdown for nearly an hour due to the search.
Anyone with information should call Fort Worth police at (817) 884-1213 or dial 911.
