Dallas Stars players shave faces for Movember

Posted: Updated:

Some lucky guys got to hang with some Dallas Stars players at the Shave-Off Movember Party at The Boardroom Salon for Men in Dallas.

Jamie Benn, the captain of the Dallas Stars, his brother Jordie Benn and others all ditched their facial hair now that No-Shave November has come to an end.

Fans who have donated $200 or more to an individual player's mustache during the month of November had the chance to attend the shaving party.

Movember is a month-long campaign aimed at bringing awareness to men's health through the power of the mustache.

"We're doing this for a great cause. It hit some guys closer to home then others but it's just a great opportunity to raise money for a great thing and it's good to see most of the guys on our team do it," said Jamie Benn.

During November, the Stars teamed up with U.T. Southwestern Medical Center to promote awareness for men's health issues ranging from cancer to mental health challenges.
