A social worker with an office at Philadelphia's family courts is under arrest. He's accused of performing a lewd act right inside his office. We want to warn you the details of this arrest are graphic.

A child social worker who is a contractor for the Philadelphia Family Courts on 18th and Vine has been arrested for a disturbing crime.

Several sources tell us the man was caught masturbating inside his courthouse office while watching pornography.

Even more disturbing he was witnessed through a street window by two students at Hallahan Catholic Girls High School.

The man was in his office when around 7:15am on November 21. He was seen by the two students and one teacher walking to school across the street. Police were called immediately.

We've been told by 2 sources that the man is no longer working at family courts.

The District Attorney is expected to charge the man with indecent exposure and lewdness. We're not releasing his name until charges are filed.

Philadelphia Family Courts has released the following statement:

"Philadelphia Family Court is aware of this alleged incident, which apparently occurred last week. The individual in question is an independent contractor of the Philadelphia Mental Health Care Corporation, who happens to have an office in the Family Court Building. He is not an employee of Family Court. We are cooperating fully with investigators. Given that this is an open and active investigation, we are prohibited from making any further comment at this time."

The man who was arrested has been released and charges are pending.
