Some drivers in North Dallas are growing frustrated and getting desperate because they're low on gas.
Gas stations across the Dallas-Fort Worth area are out of fuel because of the recent ice storm, and some of them won't get caught up until Thursday.
Driver Jenny Kunofsky drove to three or four stations Monday in search of gas.
"I've got about 15 miles ‘til I'm empty," she said.
Several gas stations say the ice storm halted their fuel deliveries – they were told roads were too dangerous.
"It's frustrating," said Mary Ismail, a gas station owner. "Without the customer getting gas, they don't come in, so that makes our sales inside the store low also."
Now, gas distributors are getting back on the road, but they're at a disadvantage.
"We're way behind," said Jeff Keylon, a fuel delivery operator. Keylon finally got to his first delivery Monday.
"As of today, we're trying to catch up from all the loads that have been behind since last Thursday," said Ehab Mikhail, a local oil distributor.
