Christmas is getting closer and that means millions of Americans will soon be traveling. Of course, that can sometimes equal some unnecessary stress.
An estimated 44 million people are set to hit the skies in a couple weeks.
Travel experts say you may actually be holding the key to sanity, right in your hands.
"It's a good idea to get familiar with some of the apps out there. I do like the TSA app because that actually lists delays at airports, even at security lines at airports across the country," Travelzoo Senior Editor Gabe Saglie said.
Experts also say the cheapest dates to fly over the holidays are Christmas day, New Year's Eve and from January sixth onward.
