One Dead, Two Critically Injured After Shooting In Kensington

Police are investigating a shooting in Kensington that one man dead, and two men critically injured.

The incident happened inside a home on the 3300 block of Jasper Street in North Philadelphia .

A 19-year-old man identified by family members and friends as Malcolm McCauley was found dead by 24th District police officers around 4pm Sunday. He was shot in the neck.

Another 19-yea- old male that lived in the home was shot in the head , and a 20-year-old man was also shot in the neck. They were transported to Temple Hospital listed in critical condition.

All three men were friends that graduated from Kensington CAPA High School.

Police say they found packets of heroin inside the home and believe the attack may have been drug related.

Police have not yet released a description of the suspect or what led to the shooting.

    Summer is not over just yet! Today will be very hot and humid with high temperatures in the low to mid 90s and mostly sunny skies.  A cold front will bring some thunderstorms tonight, some of which may be severe.

    Wednesday will be less humid but it remains warm all week long.
