She's had a lot of falls and plenty of great stunts too, but these are Fiona Gorostiza's last few days at FOX 4.
"The ones who are truly important are the ones who bring out the best in you. I thank all of you, our Good Day audience and our loyal viewers, who have brought out the best in me, laughing with me or laughing at me with all the shenanigans on TV and for making me feel welcome in your homes, your place of work and always saying hello running into me while out and about," she said.
Fiona said during her five years at FOX 4 she's enjoyed incredible opportunities, memories and friendships. She is grateful to her colleagues for their professional support and grateful to the viewers who have always wanted more.
"I'm excited about the opportunity to pursue a role that will benefit me both personally and professionally. I am looking forward to spending much-needed time out west with my mother, my brother-who is expecting his first child with his wife-so I will be an auntie soon! I will miss North Texas and KDFW tremendously," she said.
Fiona's last day is Wednesday. Until then she'll be sharing her favorite stories on air and on her Facebook page. Viewers are welcome to share their favorite memories too.
Tune in to Good Day Wednesday for a fun farewell.
