Volunteers are ready to fire up their chain saws and help others clean up after the recent ice storm.
Members of the group Texas Baptist Men will be out Tuesday cutting, trimming and removing tree branches and debris for homeowners, especially those who are elderly and cannot afford to hire workers.
"That's the first thing we do. We do help those kinds of people that are in real need. We can take that truck in and do just numerous jobs for those people on their property for not one red cent," said Harold Patterson.
The group said it actually received so many requests for help that it had to recruit additional volunteers from out of state.
