A 16-year-old Burleson
boy sentenced to ten years' probation for intoxication manslaughter could still
serve time in jail.
Couch killed four
people when he was driving drunk with a blood alcohol level that was three
times the legal limit.
Now, Tarrant County
District Attorney Joe Shannon has asked a juvenile court judge to put Ethan Couch
behind bars on two cases of intoxication assault.
He says those charges
are still pending before the court.
The maximum sentence in
Couch's intoxication assault cases would be three years in a Texas Juvenile
Justice Department facility.
The district attorney
says he cannot comment any further on details of the case due to limitations in
the family code.
