Firefighters had a tough time putting out a condominium fire in northeast Dallas.
The fire started around 9 p.m. at the Richland Trace Condos near Audelia Road and Walnut Street.
The flames rose from an upstairs unit and quickly spread.
Firefighters had trouble getting in between each floor and reaching the attic. Part of the building also collapsed.
It took about four hours to get the fire under control and in that time 16 units were damaged.
No one was hurt, but about 25 people were displaced.
The American Red Cross is now helping those residents find other housing.
