TUCSON, Ariz. -

Three sisters who were allegedly held captive by their mother and stepfather got a special surprise on Christmas Eve from an international pop star.

Tucson News Now reports singer Enrique Iglesias sent the girls autographed portraits.

Tucson Police Department told Tucson News Now that each picture had a personalized message.

Two of the girls were able to escape their home and go to a neighbor for help on Nov. 26.

Police found the third sister inside a Tucson home. The girls are 12, 13 and 17.

The girls' mother, Sophia Richter, and their stepfather, Fernando Richter, are accused of kidnapping and child abuse after allegedly keeping the girls in deplorable conditions for as long as two years.

Chief Roberto Villaseñor said during a press conference in November that the girls' were fans of Enrique Iglesias and the 17-year-old even kept a picture of him inside a keepsake satchel worn around her neck.

The girl reportedly told police it was her most prized possession.

According to Tucson News Now, a member of Tucson police decided to then contact Iglesias' representative. The rep reportedly said he had heard the girls' story and wanted to do something for them.

Iglesias sent the three pictures to detectives and they then delivered the pictures to the girls on Tuesday.

Police say Iglesias' personalized messages were filled with love and hope. The girls were reportedly shocked and overjoyed.
