Want to lose weight? Start in the pantry

With New Year's Eve days away, many people will set resolutions to lose weight and eat healthy. Jill Salama has a few tips to get you set on the path to looking lean and mean.

1) Donate/clear out any food in your pantry that is hindering your health goals.
2) Swap in replacement snacks and treats you can feel good about.
3) Try new and healthier alternatives for sugar and flour.
4) Get a few plates/bowls that are smaller than your typical dinner plates.
5) Stock up on some storage containers for cooking/prepping/storing
6) Prepare for the times you don't feel like preparing.
7) Inspire yourself!
