Carol Alt hosts 'A Healthy You'

Posted: Updated:
MYFOXNY.COM - Supermodel Carol Alt has graced approximately 700 magazine covers throughout her successful career.

She is now embarking on a new role as TV host of the new FOX show, A Healthy You.

The 30-minute program airs Saturdays and Sunday at 4 p.m.

"Just before the holidays, I talked about how to eat throughout the holidays to keep your weight down," said Alt who follows a raw food diet.

She recommends that anyone interested in a raw diet start with a few items from your local store.

"If it's raw, it's good for the body. I had tried everything. I was starving myself and gaining weight. Then I met this doctor who said this is what's good for the body," said Alt who credits Dr. Timothy Brantley for introducing her to a raw diet.

Alt shares more tips on eating raw in her weekly show, A Healthy You.
