CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Patrick Kane will be headed to Sochi, Russia next month for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Back in 2010, Kane was a member of the U.S. team that was beaten in the gold medal game by Canada. Since that game, the 25-year-old has won two Stanley Cups and was named the Stanley Cup Final MVP last season.

The Olympics hockey tournament will be played from February 12th through February 23rd.

Kane is the only Blackhawks player to be named to team U.S.A.
