The Flu is spreading quickly across New York State.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 25 states are reporting widespread flu activity.
During the week ending December 28, New York saw a 119 percent increase in confirmed flu cases over the previous week.
H1N1, which caused the Swine Flu epidemic in 2009, is the most prevalent strain.
And doctors say the bitter cold temperatures we've seen aren't helping.
Doctors say, in order to keep yourself from getting sick, get the flu shot, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, and avoid being in close contact with people who may be infected.
And if you're sick, stay home!
